Abstract :
A new 4-port resonant switch designed to operate in K-band is presented. The four port structure is patterned in a mixed two and three dimensional metallic photonic crystal. Its principle of operation relies on preferential transfers of the incident electromagnetic stream towards selected output ports which are induced by a local capacitance modulation.
