Abstract
An 80-120 GHz, sub-harmonically pumped image reject mixer (SHPIRM) was developed and tested. An IF hybrid was integrated with the design to produce a fully monolithic image reject mixer chip. The circuit was fabricated using CSIRO´s planar GaAs Schottky diode process and the RF performance was measured between 75 and 110 GHz. Throughout the 75-110 GHz band, 11-16 dB of conversion loss and better than 12 dB of image rejection was obtained.
