Abstract :
In this paper, an algorithm has been proposed to provide security to digital songs via manipulating the values of coefficients in wavelet transform (symmetrization mode) and generating a secure code by substituting some values of specified positions of coefficients of song signal without changing its audible quality. Generating coefficients of wavelet transform is the first phase of proposed technique followed by fabrication of authenticating code via maintaining a relationship among values of selected positions of coefficients (CA, CH, CV and CD) throughout the song using a specified way. The authenticating code will use to detect and identify the original song from similar available songs. A comparative study has been made with similar existing techniques and experimental results are also supported with mathematical formula based on Microsoft WAVE (“.wav”) stereo sound file.
