Abstract
For scarcity of water resources and serious soil erosion in the western mountain in HENAN province, various forms of projects about rainwater resources utilization of soil and water conservation have been carried out since 1990s, from which, corresponding models of development are adopted to the rainwater resources droping on hillsides and channels, as well as small mountain springs and streams. At present, the engineerings have been developed into a more sophisticated technology system. Based on investigation and research, various benefits of these projects are analysed and future direction of development and research are pointed out in the paper.
