Abstract :
This work describes a low-noise photodetector integrated circuit (PDIC) implemented in 0.5 μ BiCMOS technology. At a data rate of 6 Gbps it reaches sensitivities of -21.0 dBm and -18.2 dBm at wavelengths of 660 nm and 850 nm, respectively.
