Abstract
The proliferation of wireless local area network (WLAN) devices has placed a renewed focus on small, integrated, low cost antennas. In this paper, an improved low cost inverted F antenna with two parasitic elements is presented. Compared with conventional inverted F antenna, this antenna can produce wider frequency bandwidth by adding parasitic elements. It can be concluded from the good results of VSWR <1.3 at 2.4 GHz and VSWR <1.4 at 2.5 GHz, This antenna has great potential in practical application.
