  • Abstract
A 50 mm long and 1 mm diameter fiber-coupled laser-diode-pumped 0.2%-Nd doped YAG crystal fiber laser is designed in this study. The crystal fibers with 98% optical transmission are obtained by cutting and polishing. Results show 12 ns optical pulse generation with an energy of 4.4 mJ at 1 kHz repetition rate in Q-switched operation.
