Abstract :
We will present our results regarding growth, absorption and emission spectroscopy, Judd-Ofelt analysis and laser experiments as a function of the dopant density. The 2-μm emission of Tm3+ has been studied in different hosts, but, to the best of our knowledge this is the first detailed analysis of the properties of Tm:LLF.
