Abstract :
Intelligent video monitoring is a new technology originally developed on the basis of video image processing technology. Aiming at the defects of monitoring conducted by man in the conventional practice, the automatic alarming technology based on intelligent video monitoring was studied. Frame difference-based dynamic background refreshing algorithm was applied to monitored scenes to carry out cutting and information extraction of moving object as well as complete anomaly judgement. Moreover, anomaly information and key moving object tracking image sequences can be recorded in real time at the monitor client. By doing so, automatic anti-theft alarm was realized and the goal of safety protection was achieved. The results of experiment show that the intelligent video monitoring technology has favorable performance. It enhances the monitoring level and effects, and really achieves automatic monitoring alarm by tracking moving object in video.
