Abstract :
Transporting girder vehicle moving mainly rely on manual operation, which can not be achieved automatically driving. In order to achieve automatic drive, a method based on image processing is suggested. A wavelet-based image coding technique which can compresses the navigation image and improves the real-time performance of the system is used, and the wavelet edge detection algorithm is applied to navigation image edge accurate positioning. Image edge is straightened by Hough transform. Results showed that the method is simple and effective.
