Abstract :
An knowledge-based system (KBS) on aircraft assembly drilling should be develop because that assembly drilling requires much experience about process parameter, Tools, Equipments and fixtures to drill precisely and efficiently and the knowledge may update rapidly to suit the improvement of process. This paper lists the influence factor of aircraft assembly drilling which includes fastener, structure type and material. A Hierarchical case representation model presents to resolve the problem level by level in order to simplify the complexity. After discussing the Knowledge base (repository), Architecture of KBS and inference method, the KBS implement is introduced to explain its use.
