  • Abstract
    The paper analyses the characteristics of twin spindles gantry drilling machine, and puts forward an algorithm which can convert the NC processing code from single spindle to twin spindles. Mathematical model of algorithm has been established, and also the flowchart of the algorithm is given. Based on the proposed modular algorithm strategy, it can be easily ported to other platforms. Processed examples have shown that a high processing efficiency can be obtained.
