Abstract :
In the present paper we used single mode laser diode working near 960 nm to excite Rb atoms into Rydberg states. Using external cavity described above we have obtained stable continuous operation of the frequency doubling of semiconductor laser with linewidth below 10 MHz and output power of several mW.
