Abstract
The paper represents a comparative study of the main problems of spatial motion of nonlinear systems and properties of invariance and attractivity of smooth multidimensional sets. Their connection with concepts of synergetics, coordinated control and synchronization is demonstrated. Problems of energy stabilization and synchronization of coupled pendulums, as well as local behaviour of Lorenz system, are considered as special cases and prove an analogy of the concepts.
