Abstract :
A low-power Ku-band frequency quadrupler microwave monolithic integrated circuit was developed. Appropriate circuit design and the proposed lumped quarter wavelength stub resuted in high conversion gain and the number of drive-amplifier stages can be reduced. With this quadruplet MMIC, a low-power Ku-band local oscillator for user-portable terminals will be realized.
