Model Analysis the United States´ Direct Investment in China

With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization and foreign direct investment of multinational corporations, international direct investment becomes an important factor of promoting global economic growth. During the process of the United States´ investing in China, the position of the United States in China´s utilizing foreign direct investment continuously enhances. This thesis analyzed the number, areas, industry, decisive factors and the relationship with Sino-US trade of the United States´ foreign direct investment in China; it concluded that the main motivation of the United States´ foreign direct investment in China came from internal factors of China; The United States´ foreign direct investment in China was highly correlated with Sino-US trade, it prompted Sino-US trade development. Therefore, China should take measures to make good use of the United States´ direct investment.
