Abstract :
The application of Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) with case studies for ranking the industries, the paper presents the multifaceted formalism along with Type 1 Fuzzy logic Inference System (Type 1 FLS) for fuzzily describing river water quality for bathing. It is the belief that the Computing With Words (CWW) methodology with focus on fuzzy logic will be of practical utility in addressing environmental issues.
