Abstract
This paper presents a design methodology for unequal-split Bagley power divider (BPD). Closed-form design equations for 3-way and 5-way BPDs are derived based on simple circuit theory and transmission line theory. The proposed power dividers are capable of providing different output power ratios by an appropriate choice of the characteristic impedances of the interconnecting transmission lines. Moreover, dual-frequency unequal-split BPDs are designed and analyzed. Simulation results obtained using Ansoft Designer software prove the validity of the design procedure.
