Abstract
A sample perturbation method for using a truncated CBH theorem to calculate the nonlinear generator for one turn maps is proposed. The author argues that such maps should give accurate long-term dynamic apertures for proton colliders such as the SSC (Superconducting Super Collider) and LHC (Large Hadron Collider).<>
