Abstract :
Feedforward data-aided and non-data-aided carrier synchronization algorithms are commonly used for burst transmission. In this paper, we focus on the design of decision-directed carrier synchronization algorithm which can jointly estimate the frequency and phase offset for PSK transmission. Compared with other traditional methods, the proposed algorithm employ only a short length of preamble, while its estimation range is as large as half symbol rate and its accuracy is close to MCRB at low SNR even in high dynamic environments.
