Abstract
The paper discusses multimedia technology as a teaching tool for handicapped college students. Emphasis is on easy and intuitive handling of the various multimedia technology controls. The multimedia application is developed in higher special education. The modules of the program are described for college students. Current developments in computer hardware and software, in computer networks, in cognitive science, and in information theory indicate that there are better multimedia technology systems for the handicapped college students to study in higher special education.
