Abstract :
In this paper, monthly NOAA /AVHRR remotely sensed images of 8 times 8 km from 1981 to 1999 are used to study the driving function of temperature and precipitation on NDVI dynamic changes in China, which then serves as a basis to study the regional distribution difference of climate driving on LUCC with the results that: northeast, Inner Mongolia and Qingzang plateau are comparatively sensitive to the precipitation, while the ample southeast region and the western Xinjiang are comparatively sensitive to the temperature. The main drivers and its intensity vary and distributes zonally from southeast to northwest region. Regional study of climate driving on LUCC is for the first time performed in this paper on the basis of the results above. Three regions of first level, 5 regions of second level and 15 regions of third level are given in this regionization scheme. The regionization furtherly indicates the regional distribution difference of climate driver on LUCC in China
