Abstract :
An approximate method that deals with both parent spin resonances and strong synchrotron tune modulation is presented. This approach addresses the problem of slow convergence of the power series expansion for the synchrotron sidebands and may provide a starting point for the eventual development of a suitably fast algorithm to deal with the problem of strong synchrotron tune modulations.<>
