Abstract :
A PML absorber formulation for Multiresolution Time Domain (MRTD) schemes with Haar wavelets of arbitrary order of resolution is provided in this paper. Validation studies prove the efficiency of the absorber which yields sufficiently low reflections even under coarse sampling conditions, demonstrating a better performance compared to conventional FDTD PML absorbers.
