Abstract
Summary form only given. This paper studies theoretically two semiconductor lasers that are mutually delay-coupled via their optical fields, where the delay arises due to the finite propagation time of the light from one laser to the other. This paper concentrates on the dynamics within the locking region, that is the region where compound laser modes exist.
