  • Abstract
The paper describes a new combination of hardware and software being developed at Georgia Tech as a learning tool for power system steady state analysis. The hardware consists of a panel with a graphic representation of a power system and a number of adjustable parameters (potentiometers). The manual parameter adjustment is acquired by a personal computer, which runs the software and complements the parameters from a database. A variety of simple tests and small projects may be derived from such hardware/software configuration. Some of them are described
