Abstract :
This paper presents a new coplanar solution for the design and the integration of ultra-miniature lumped element circulators. To realize such a component, we propose a single side, thick film technological process, on the upper side of a ferrite substrate. Moreover, we show that an optimization of the coplanar circulator performance is achieved with the use of a radial configuration for the magnetic polarization field Ho.
