Abstract :
Generation of simultaneous multiple beams and adaptive beam forming methods are the current trends and requirements of the present day 3D radar requirements. The present paper describes the design of a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) based digitally controllable receive beamformer for 3D radar application, methods for realization of adaptive beamforming and the platform stabilization for the dynamic radar platforms is also discussed in this paper.
