Abstract
The present paper provides the results of our investigations of the piezoelectric, pyroelectric and dielectric properties of ceramic-polymer ferroelectric composites consisting of calcium modified lead titanate and copolymer VDF/TrFE. It has been shown that the electroactive properties of this composite with 0-3 connectivity can approach those of 1-3 diphasic systems with an appropriate choice of design criteria. A theoretical model has also been provided and it can be used to design 0-3 composites sensors with high performance
