After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE\´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

This article is a research using empirical test in the motivity of Chinese listed companies" cash balance. Based on the statements of cash flow of Chinese listed companies between 2000 and 2004, we summarize the current situation of cash flows from operating activities with different profit level, and then analyze the effectiveness of cash balance. This paper concludes the status of China\´s listed companies cash balance: most of China\´s listed companies perform positive cash balance, that is, their cash flows, generated by operating activities, are effective, and their profitability and effectiveness of operating activities are positive related. We hope provide a more effective assessment to business operations and the future development trend for the general information user.
