GERERE´Bear based humanoid

The word GERERE´Bear is nothing but a Latin word which means a gesture. Until now the gestures are limited for computer fields only i.e just operating a computer or other devices just by using several movements. In today´s world humanoid plays an important role in various fields even in industries or homes. But they all work depending upon our commands which are mainly verbal. If we consider dumb people, then they can´t order a humanoid just by verbal commands. So by using gesture based humanoid we can operate any system simply by gestures in such a way that if they want water they will just order the humanoid to bring it by showing their thumb or any other desired movement. According to psychologists sixty percent of communication between people is through beck, flourish, shrug, wafture, nod and curtsy. In this paper the gesture recognition process of humanoid CHANU is presented. These humanoids are mainly used for dumb, physically challenged people and patients.
