Abstract
The author finds the beam response to sweeping the radio-frequency through a cavity parasitic resonance in order to calculate the increases in the individual bunch dipole moments and the coupled-bunch oscillation amplitude. In the KAON Booster, a hypothetical first HOM with Q=4000 and R/Q=30 gives a coupled-bunch dipole oscillation of 27 degrees of RF phase. This would swamp any injection timing errors.<>
