Abstract
This paper addresses the design and analysis of a 8.5m dual-offset reflector antenna for S-Band weather RADAR applications, we well as feed and antenna test results showing compliance to very stringent beam symmetry, cross-polarization, and power handling requirements. Specifically, a very low cross-polarization within the antenna´s main beam of 37 dB was required and verified. Theoretical feed and antenna performance is compared to measured data and discussed.
