Abstract :
During the recent years there has been a strong move from science and technology policy towards innovation policy. This has meant that new actors have been involved in S&T policy discussion. There are many profits from technology foresight in adding together to the knowledge and consensus they generate. The knowledge economy raise significant role of understanding and managing knowledge base assets such as innovation and patent. Nowadays patent data are more important for technology change and innovation activities. Patent data represent technological innovations. In this paper we estimate the share of Number of triadic patent families of in each country to total OECD and in addition examine the growth of number of patent in each OECD countries. For the empirical analysis we use data for the period 1992-2002.
