Abstract :
A new beam direction finding circuit based on six-port technology is presented in this paper. The proposed circuit uses a two-channel receiver and analog signal processing of the six-port circuit output signals in order to evaluate the beam direction. A prototype circuit was designed and fabricated. Simulations and measurements of this circuit are presented and discussed. Low-cost angle of arrival measurements can be performed using the proposed approach.
