Abstract
This paper demonstrates an high repetition rate OPA, directly pumped by a laser oscillator, generating 220 fs pulses with up to 190 nJ energy at 1 MHz, tunable in the 1330-1600 nm (signal). It exploits a pair of PPLN crystals with the same poling periods, one providing the seed pulses by optical parametric generation (OPG), and the other allowing for their power amplification.
