Basing on the history and culture´s tradition of historic cities, by looking the cities´ sustainable development as a kind of systems engineering and using the theory of protect management, the paper discusses how to utilize the abundant cities´ nature resources of history and culture to impulse them forming a sustainable development´s method with the distinctive characteristics, friendly environment and abstemious resources combining with the modern urban planning method and the burgeoning propaganda medium technology of city for upgrading the city taste and the life quality which goes with the sound economic development and building their harmonious society soon. This paper also hopes to give the decision makers of city building some useful advice about city propaganda presentation, environmental pollution treatment, bringing in personnel, building soft environment, making laws and policies and resource´s intensive utilization.
