The influence of urbanization on the land resource security in Jiangsu province

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of urbanization on the land resource security, and examined how to ensure the process of urbanization in while to ensure the security of land resources. Methods employed include system analysis method and combining qualitative and quantitative approach. The results indicate that urbanization of Jiangsu province is undergoing a well rapid stage, which rises economic power of Jiangsu Province, and leads to the security of land resources becoming increasingly prominent. The rapid development of urbanization, industrialization led to the degradation of land quality and ecological function, such as the falling sharply quantity and quality of arable land, soil pollution soil erosion, etc. The conclusion is that, empirical research based on Jiangsu Province is enhanced the theory and maneuverability of urbanization and land resources of security studies. and the paper put forward practical measures according to the problem of land security in the process of urbanization.
