Abstract :
This paper describes a rigorous method for modelling single-post in rectangular waveguides. The post placed in cavities compensates the filter design mechanical difficulties, principal features, and adjust the central frequency and the coupling modes. The numerical and experimental results for different deep post and cross-section are presented.
