Abstract :
In this paper, a novel approach to design the beam switching array with flat gain response is demonstrated. By using this method, flat gain character can be realized with very limited array elements comparing with traditional technique, a ±0.3dB gain variation in its covering range is observed in simulation result, which could be an attractive candidate in sectorization communication where a flat response is wanted.
