Abstract
In this paper we have established new necessary and sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability of a particular class of large-scale linear discrete time-delay systems. The delay-dependent condition is derived by Lyapunov´s direct method and is based on the exact solution of a particular system of matrix polynomial equations. Numerical computations are performed to illustrate the results obtained.
