  • Abstract
Log management is necessary part to register the three-dimensional spatial data. It also has a vital role in auditing and monitoring in the system. The traditional method of log management proposed a management module which records the user´s operations respectively for each function, perform by the users. There are some three-dimensional spatial database management systems with pertinent log management sub-system, or in the words we also can say that the administrator can only use the log, which is added by database system, to get back the data. Hierarchical structure of the log management should be pointed out to improve this vulnerability. Oracle database records the concrete operations, the administrator has the capability to perform t he recovery operation on the basis of log management system. So it is essential to use the log management system to insure the safety of the three-dimensional spatial data. This system cuts down the programmers´ workload for writing duplicate codes. It cannot only the solution to improve the performance of Oracle database application for the three-dimensional spatial data management, but also provides the powerful security to the three-dimensional spatial data management. The log management has been made to remove the problem of complexity and inconvenience of three-dimensional spatial data manipulation records.
