Abstract :
Life-cycle assessment (LCA) is an effective method by which the energy consumption and environmental impact of commodities and services can be evaluated and calculated. Firstly, this paper introduces the development path of life-cycle assessment methodology, then, illustrates theoretical and computational knowledge of each life-cycle assessment model and summarizes their characters respectively. Finally, focusing on the characters of each model and status quo of building LCA in China, this paper provides instruction on model choosing, which aims to advance and accelerate relevant research in China.
