Abstract :
This paper presents a broadband, low noise and high-gain active patch antenna for digital television receiver. The active antenna includes a broadband passive patch antenna and a one stage low noise bipolar amplifier. They are integrated on a Fr4 substrate. The frequency covers from 170MHz to230 MHz (VHF) and from 350MHz to 650 MHz (UHF).
