Abstract
The paper describes the necessary on fault diagnosis of vehicle transmission, the fault mechanism of transmission is discussed and the fault diagnosis methods of transmission are studied. On this basis, the arrangement of measuring points and the sensor selection is carried out, a signal testing system of transmission vibration is established and the vibration respond signal of transmission is obtained through the practice vehicle test. By utilizing de-noise function on wavelet package analysis, the signal was extracted under the strong background condition. The signal characteristics are extracted by utilizing the character of wavelet can extract the different frequencies information from the original signal. According to the different faults had the different frequency characteristics, the faults were identified. In addition, the fault is confirmed according to the different frequency components energy of vibration signals will change when the system takes place the fault. The validity on the fault diagnosis of transmission was verified by comparing two different diagnosis methods.
