Abstract :
Wavelength-division-multiplexing Passive Optical Network (WDM-PON) is the developing trend of next-generation optical access network in future. As an important direction of WDM-PON, wavelength-shared technology gets much attention in recent years. In this paper, wavelength optimization model was established in order to configure wavelength resources properly. The average queuing delay in wavelength-shared WDM-PON is simulated and analyzed as well.
