Abstract
In this paper, the transient properties of the pulsed operation of organic DH devices are investigated by numerical simulation. In this virtual device, the optical and electrical material properties are in the range of typical materials used for OLED fabrication. The simulations suggest a pathway to circumvent polaron absorption, which is assumed to be the key obstacle for electrically pumped organic laser diodes.
