Elucidating the Development of Chinese Leisure Industry from Industrial Cluster Perspective

With the progress of the national´s leisure idea in China, leisure industry has gained increasing currency as an agent for regional economic development. Leisure industrial clusters are becoming one of the centerpieces of economic development policy in many parts of the world. Thus far cluster analysis has largely been applied in the manufacturing industry. Based on the theory of industrial cluster and combined with the concrete reality of China, this paper identifies the key factors that influence the creating and development of leisure industrial cluster. The paper also proposes three major model of cluster creation in leisure industry.
