Abstract
In this paper, a novel precoding technique is proposed to improve the performance of the MIMO interference channel (MIC). Since the reachable sum-rate is a long-term problem, we present an iterative approach to improve the power-offset and achieve a higher sum-rate than the ordinary scheme. Considering the difference between MIC and multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system, we design joint precoding based on minimum mean square error (MMSE) by the Lagrangian multiplier method for the different transmitters, which is an iterative procedure to achieve the optimal structure. By setting a reasonable threshold for the iterative process, the effect of the crosstalk in MIC is removed significantly. Simulation results show the effectiveness of presented algorithm.
