Study on Streetscape Management Based on Elemental Constitution: The Mode of Streetscape Development under the Chinese Background

Streetscape is a basic carrier of city image, while it presents the structure of urban planning and construction. By analyzing of the character of streetscape´s composing system, this paper is illustrated by two aspects of space guiding and specific performance. In first aspect, integrative targets are set, and principles are given to improve the street interface. In the other aspect, with projects practice, controls of space configuration and constituents are provided systematically for construction the interior order of the streetscape´s elements.
